Our name originates from the folklore of Korean and Chinese culture. As the story goes, the Dragon’s Pearl is said to contain great energy and power to heal and give immortality. It also contains all knowledge and wisdom, which is why dragons have been depicted giving chase to this pearl. By capturing it, the dragon acquires enlightenment, knowledge, and wisdom. The phrase “pearls of wisdom” comes from this mythological tale.
The colors used in the logo – yellow, red, blue, black and white – relate to the five cardinal elements of earth, fire, wood, water, and metal, in Korean tradition. These colors, when worn by children as stripes on their sleeves, were believed to protect them from evil wherever they go.
